Casal Humberti was the name of a fortress in the Achziv region of Israel named after the commander of the fort in 1104. It was later named Casal Umberti in 1197 and Casal Imbert in 1104. European farmes settled here in 1153 by Baldwin III and in 1232 was the site of a great battle between German and French Crusaders as part of the War of the Lombards.
